MartinFed announced today it has been awarded a subcontract by KBR to support the Ground Systems and Mission Operations-3 (GSMO-3) contract at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. In this capacity, MartinFed will be providing mission support to the Earth Science Mission Operations (ESMO) Project’s Earth Observing System (EOS) Data Operations System (EDOS) which captures high-rate science and engineering data from the EOS spacecraft and instruments and processes telemetry for multiple NASA Missions.
Under the terms of the 5 year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract, MartinFed will provide operations functions supporting 24×7 operations, nominal and contingency mission monitoring, configuration management, network asset monitoring, and training functions.
“We are thrilled to continue our support to KBR and to NASA on the GSMO program,” said Gerrit Burke, Director of Engineering at MartinFed. “As NASA continues to develop new technologies that help us better know and understand the universe, we’re honored to support the important work at Goddard that’s driving science in space and on Earth forward.”
